About the Event

Chef George Geary is coming to the Hollywood Heritage Museum on Sunday, August 11 12:00 PM to talk about some of the restaurants featured in our "Out with the Stars: Hollywood's Famous and Forgotten Haunts" exhibit, and sign copies of his books.

Chef George is a Certified Culinary Professional, former pastry chef for the Walt Disney Company, and best-selling cookbook author. His recent book, "LA’s Landmark Restaurants: Celebrating the Legendary Locations Where Angelinos Have Dined for Generations" is a sequel to his "L.A.’s Legendary Restaurants," since one book could not contain all the historical hot spots visited by the Hollywood set.

These books feature legendary eateries in Hollywood, the Valley, Long Beach, and South Bay, such as Tony’s on the Pier; Joe Jost’s, The Smoke House and more, with over 100 recipes. His latest book, "Made in California Volume 2," debuted in May of 2024 as a sequel to his 2021 hit, "Made in California Volume 1."

Join us for this delicious afternoon! Nostalgic C.C. Brown's hot fudge sundaes for ticket holders, and tasty prizes from Lawry's

Tickets: $16 for members and $21 for non-members.

NOTE: The Museum will be closed to the public all day on August 11 for this special event.
